Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The contribution is original and unpublished, and it is not under consideration for publication by any other journal; otherwise, it must be justified in the "Comments to the editor" section.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, or RTF format.
  • URLs for references were provided whenever possible.
  • The text is spaced 1.5; uses a 12-point font; employs italics instead of underlining (except in URL addresses); Figures and tables are inserted in the text, not at the end of the document in the form of attachments.
  • The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in the Author Guidelines on the About the Journal page.
  • In case of submission to a peer-reviewed section (e.g., articles), the instructions available at Ensuring Blind Peer Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

Signed articles are the sole responsibility of the author(s).
The Journal does not charge submission or evaluation fees.

Texts submitted to ICMR must comply with the following standards:
Articles may be written in Portuguese and English.
A4 paper (29.7-21.0 cm); Word text editor (saved in .doc or .docx extension); Times New Roman characters, size 12, 1.5 spacing, justified alignment; indents: right and left: 0; first line 1.25cm.

The text must not exceed 22 (twenty-two) pages, including summaries, tables, tables, figures, notes and bibliographic references.

On the first page inform:
- Title in Portuguese and English;
- With Times New Roman 14 font: summary (between 150 and 250 words) in Portuguese and English; keywords (between 4 and 6) in Portuguese and English.
- Identify the authors in the body of the article.

Citations, notes and bibliographic references:

Citations: 4 cm left indent; use font 10, single spacing.

Notes: they must be reduced to the minimum necessary and can be presented as footnotes or at the end of the text, numbered sequentially, after the bibliographic references.

References: must be presented in the body of the text indicating the surname, followed by the year of publication. In the case of textual citation, also indicate the page. Complete bibliographic references must be presented in alphabetical order at the end of the text, following ABNT standards (NBR-6023).

  • The content of the articles is the sole responsibility of the authors.
  •  The total or partial reproduction of the content of the articles is allowed, provided the source is mentioned.
  •  Articles with plagiarism will be refused, and the author of the plagiarism will lose the right to publish in this magazine.
  •  The names and addresses informed in this journal will be used exclusively for the services provided by this publication and are not available for other purposes or to third parties.
  •  Once you submit the articles, the authors give the copyright of their articles to the ICMR. If you regret the submission, the author has the right to ask the ICMR not to publish his article. However, this request must occur within two months before the release of the number that the article will be published.
